With a fellow ISU Meteorology alumni, we headed to Panama City, Fl to experience our first Major Hurricane. We got more than we bargained for with a front row seat to one of the worst hurricanes to strike U.S. soil. Extreme winds, torrential rains, crying babies, barking dogs, ripped-off roof, damaged cars, flooded rooms, 'widespread damage' doesn't even begin to describe it. Speechless and unable to find the words to describe Michael, here is our story. ***Please contact for licensing information***
Absolutely devastating amount of damage Hurricane Michael has inflicted on Panama City. The damage seen today is catastrophic and looks like a complete war zone. My prayers go out to everyone affected by this storm. Panama City will never be the same. For relief and donations for supplies, please visit my fundraiser. We are dropping supplies off to familes in need of food, water, cleaning supplies and first aid https://www.facebook.com/donate/345152382904963/ - anything helps.
