Hurricane Michael made landfall in Florida as a historic storm. As it traveled up the East Coast it left a path of destruction in its wake.

The death toll from Hurricane Michael reached at least 13 people and is expected to climb. Many of those who did survive don’t have water or power. The death toll continues to rise in the wake of Hurricane Michael since making landfall on Florida’s Panhandle Wednesday. The storm has been blamed for at least 16 deaths in four states. Emergency officials in Florida say they have rescued nearly 200 people and checked 25,000 buildings for survivors. One of the hard-hit areas is Panama City, Florida.
